Hey there, I'm facing an issue with Minecraft. When I start or load a world in singleplayer, the game feels sluggish, almost like it's running on an online server. The console logs show something like this: [23:18:26] [Server thread/INFO]: dambrown joined the game[23:18:34] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 8537ms behind, skipping 170 tick(s)[23:18:52] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 10471ms behind, skipping 209 tick(s). I've tried updating Java 32 and 64-bit, running the game at high priority, but the problem still exists. I'm pretty sure my system specs are fine if needed: CPU: AMD FX-8320 @ 3.50GHz, 1.25v RAM: 10GB DDR3 1333MHz, GPU: AMD HD7770 1GB (desktop res 1600x900), OS: Windows 10 Pro 64Bit, Java version U8 R71. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's really strange. I think you might not have the ability for it, even though you clearly do. I only see that warning when my friends attempt to run a Minecraft server on their slow laptops.

Start with plenty of RAM for MineCraft. That should resolve most issues. Next, keep in mind MineCraft runs with a single thread per world. Even with all your cores dedicated to the server, you’ll likely only need one or two. Those warnings usually aren’t worth the stress.

The settings have been updated to adjust the storage range from 1GB to 5GB, with a new minimum of 2GB and maximum of 5GB. The issue with the white outline blocks is still unclear, but it might be related to NVIDIA GPUs as mentioned in online guides.

That option isn't available in the game and the control center can't launch singleplayer mode.

It's likely in the video settings menu. I don't recall it right away, but pressing "escape" and selecting "video settings" probably reveals anti-aliasing options.
