I've been working on assembling a PC and have finalized most of the components except RAM and SSD. Right now I own the TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL38 for memory, and the MSI SPATIUM M482 2 TB M.2-2280 SSD. My budget for RAM sits between $80 and $85, while my SSD budget is around $150. Other parts include a Ryzen 7 7700x 4.5 GHz 8-core CPU, a Noctua NH-L9A-AM5 CHROMAX.BLACK cooler, an MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX motherboard, an Asus PRIME OC Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card, and a Corsair 4000D airflow case (non-RGB). The PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 TT Premium 850 W unit with 80+ Gold certification. I also have extra fans: a Thermalright TL-C12C X3 66.17 CFM and three 120 mm fans for cooling. I don’t mind RGB as long as the colors match, and everything else is in place.

Consider alternative choices if you haven’t already. There are significantly better coolers available for the same price range. If you already own one, continue using it—it will maintain optimal chip temperatures. For RAM, opt for a 6000 CL30 kit: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4cCCmG/...32g600c30k. Regarding the SSD, a more affordable option like the SN580 would be reasonable, as gains beyond that are minimal outside specialized use (not a typical gaming setup).

I haven't received it yet. I was also checking out the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120.

You have room in the case for it and the Peerless Assassin 120 performs better, I see no reason to go for the Noctua instead.

That was a silly question. I meant you were asking if two terabytes are still sufficient.

Consider upgrading to a Phantom Ghost 120 for enhanced performance. The board selection is solid, with more affordable alternatives such as the ASRock B850M Pro-A available. You probably won’t feel any difference, or you can explore higher-end boards like the B850 LiveMixer, which offers a reliable PSU and a 10-year warranty at a reasonable price.

The 2TB size works well; it's the amount I typically suggest.

Thanks for the suggestion! I was also considering upgrading to a 9700X, but I didn’t want to deal with new BIOS updates. This board seems to address that issue. I’m not focused on content creation, yet the board looks promising!

Did you refer to the SE or non-SE edition?
