About quarter of a year ago I updated my system and with that made a complete wipe of windows with it. I upgraded my memory, got a new ssd, gpu, psu and case. While on surface everything looked fine, I did notice that in sometimes my PC would reboot out of nowhere - And by that I mean, all RGB and screen would go black and BIOS logo would shop up, from which system (most of the time) booted normally. At first it was weird but now I find it happening couple times a month. I have noticed that they occur on specific games that seemingly are more demanding (Battlefield 2042 is the last example that I remember), but I can recall one time it happened when on idle. The current system is as follows: Asrock B450M Pro 4f Ryzen 3600 32GB 3200 (new) Biostar RX 6700 XT (new) Western D. Black 256GB PCIe m2 (about 4 years old) + 2x 500GB sata Adata (~year) + 2TB WD HDD (new) Seasonic G12 - 650W Gold (new) + 8x120mm LED fans (2 on CPU) Windows 11 Edu 23H2 22631.4460 Now that I have some cash spared up I would like to upgrade whatever might be the issue. I have some theories that might cause this but I would like community input regarding them. 1) Power Supply not enough - Most straight forward one, yet most PSU wattage calculators claim I am well within the limit (with the only exceptions being the MSI one). I specifically checked the Seasonic website one, and they claimed I should be fine with a 550W one. 2) Corrupted SSD / Windows install. - After setting the new PC up I used Linux for couple of weeks and after some issues had to switch to windows. Couple weeks in I started noticing that not everything might be okay. For example there is some sort of a issue with DirectX. I am unable to start up Arma 3 (unless I force it to 32bit) or SCP 5K, with "status_access_violation" errors thrown around. Tried running Dependency walker, but that returned a wall of red text that I have no idea how to read. Tried reinstalling C/C++/C#/DirectX runtimes and other stuff, yet still the same. On the other hand, SSD is about 4 years old... 3) Something wonky with the GPU? - Within the last month, I had 2 occasions where GPU drivers were for some reason disabled in Device manager after rebooting, and I had to manually enable them. I noticed that since my second monitor wasn't running nor detected. 4) Power Socket/Extension (EU) too stacked? - Currently running in a configuration of Wall > Extension ( PC, Table hydraulics, Extension (2x 1440p Monitors)), but power loss always happens on PC, not the screens) I wouldn't like to spend the money on replacements that I don't really need, but maybe you could give advice on how to narrow this problem down. Thank you for attention Edit: I just rebooted my PC and saw flashing artifacts of green squares on top of the Boot screen, after which system rebooted and now I am back in operation mode. Consider disabling the memory OC configuration, as it comes with various names or lowering the memory clock by around 1000 MHz or higher.
