Hello everyone, I recently observed microstutters in my current configuration: i7 13700 RTX 4070 32GB RAN crucial @6000Mhz LG 27UK670 ROG STRIX B760-G MoBo. I first noticed it a month ago with scrolling problems using Nvidia drivers on Windows 11. After adjusting settings and trying different browsers, the issue persisted. So, I switched to Windows 10 with Nvidia drivers version 536.something. This reduced the stutters significantly. Interestingly, I saw more issues at 30fps compared to 60fps. However, I did observe two points: in Chrome, scrolling tabs made videos choppy, and there were some scrolling stutters even after changing the ANGLE to OpenGL. Switching to DX11 or Default resolved the scrolling problems but not the playback stutter. In Firefox, the browser would stutter during media playback, while games like Hogwarts Legacy and Spider-Man ran smoothly with no visible stutters. The 99% FPS was around 57 or lower. I then updated the drivers to 551.23, expecting some scrolling issues, but the problem worsened with the same settings. When using YouTube, playback stuttering became much more severe. OpenGL helped with scrolling, but playback still had issues. Stress testing the GPU and memory showed no errors. After the update, I monitored CPU usage and noticed stutters often occurred during small spikes. I’m at a loss—this is my first build, and I don’t know how to resolve this.
