I use two USB adapters and experience microstutters in online games with both, but offline games run smoothly (as long as they’re properly optimized). Would switching to a PCIe adapter resolve the issue? I don’t have a way to test the problem without a cable, and I’ve been having this issue since my PC was three months old. The first adapter is a Netis WF2190, while the second is a TP-LINK TL WN722N, which only has drivers for Windows 8.1 from 2013. Has anyone else encountered this problem before? Or are there other possible causes? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It might work via USB, but I’d also consider interference from other networks or general reception problems. Have you experimented with USB adapters to place them farther from the PC and check for better connectivity?

I was able to connect the cable for a while, but everything remained the same, suggesting the adapter might not be the problem.
