I've had this infuriating problem for a while now and it happens in every game. The fps is high (usually locked to 165), but there is a constant stuttering when I move the mouse which makes it feel very choppy. I'm attaching a video that showcases it. Any ideas of what it could be? Microstutter.mp4

The video isn't recording at 165fps, which means the capture will introduce stutter. You haven't specified any details about the hardware. Also, I don't see information about the monitor's refresh rate, VSync status, or VRR support.

From the video, I've noticed cases where a high polling rate mouse causes FPS drops in certain games. Moving the mouse quickly leads to worse performance. The solution I discovered was to reduce the polling rate to 250 Hz or lower.

I own a 4080 12700k 32gb DDR4 3600 G Skill RAM. It works with the AW DWF Oled Ultrawide and my second monitor too, so it’s likely not the hardware itself. VRR is enabled and V-sync is active.

Are the monitors both on? This might lead to problems, especially with VRR.

I just received the second version and it performed better before. I turned it off to verify, but the result remains unchanged. Reducing the polling rate actually made things worse. It works optimally at 1000hz.

I've observed that certain windows may lag while dragging them. This happened with MSI Afterburner. It's unclear if this is typical.
