On my Windows 7 with 2 quad 2gb RAM machine, Microsoft Tems fails on 2022-07-06. The issue occurs when trying to run a command, resulting in an unhandled exception related to missing files. The specific error mentions a file binding problem, possibly due to assembly logging being disabled. Adjust the registry setting for logging if needed. Immediate fix required.

Restart the system again, teamwork isn't great and on a Windows 7 machine with average specs it really struggles

The full details of the system are available. Adding a 2GB SSD for dual-channel and 4GB RAM would suffice, and it should function properly. A 2GB DDR2 RAM would likely cost around $3 to $4 used.

If your system can't run teams, just use teams in the browser. Also, make sure you upgrade to at least Windows 10—it should run better on your device.

It seems like you're asking about the browser. Would you like to know more about it?

Instead of a standard reinstall, have you tried removing the complete Teams cache and then running the installer again (don’t uninstall)? To clear the cache, delete all files in the folder "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams".

He didn’t want an upgrade suggestion, just a solution for the team’s issues—by the way, Teams is really poor.

Windows 7 is no longer officially supported. When issues arise and the browser feature fails, options are limited. You might consider updating to a previous Teams version, but it will eventually stop working too.
