Wine functions as a way to run Windows applications on other operating systems. You can test various programs there, including Microsoft Onenote, Kindle, and Google Drive. It supports syncing across devices, so once it works with your main computer, you should be able to use Linux on your laptop too.

The known effective and ineffective programs are listed on https://appdb.winehq.org/. Onenote fails to reach the installer, which is the current status based on the latest update, but since the site hasn’t been refreshed recently, you might still give it a shot. Feel free to experiment with any software, as there’s no fixed checklist beforehand. In the worst case, it may not function at all.

Recent evaluations are being conducted on WINE 2.17. The latest Wine release is now 3.xx, showing significant improvements. I recommend trying it out.
