Microsoft made a mistake for gamers again.
Windows is owned by Microsoft, a company that generates nearly 45 billion dollars annually, so it's reasonable to assume they could deliver on their claims.
They're more reliable than the occasional major update that could damage your system multiple times a year. They maintain stability better than Linux updates, which often bring real improvements. Updates shouldn't be viewed as a threat to expensive hardware or a reason for costly legal battles.
I recommend sticking with Linux until Microsoft fixes their issues. Also, it’s nice when Nvidia lets GPU passthrough work on Linux.
I’m thinking about switching to a more streamlined version of MS to get a fresh install of Windows. It’s hard to picture living without a tidy setup given all the unnecessary features and ads on other systems.
