It seems there are some unusual frame rate problems with Windows 10, but the performance was actually great when it worked. Just a heads-up—people needed to fix it properly, and thank you for the update!

They had a single task, then dismissed all their QA staff, thinking users would discover the issues and resolve them later. Forget Microsoft and their flawed operating system.

You're taken aback by this approach. Most operating systems today follow a similar pattern—launching a partially developed version that works just enough, and then letting users discover issues and patch them as they go.

Windows is owned by Microsoft, a company that generates nearly 45 billion dollars annually, so it's reasonable to assume they could deliver on their claims.

They're more reliable than the occasional major update that could damage your system multiple times a year. They maintain stability better than Linux updates, which often bring real improvements. Updates shouldn't be viewed as a threat to expensive hardware or a reason for costly legal battles.

I recommend sticking with Linux until Microsoft fixes their issues. Also, it’s nice when Nvidia lets GPU passthrough work on Linux.

I’m thinking about switching to a more streamlined version of MS to get a fresh install of Windows. It’s hard to picture living without a tidy setup given all the unnecessary features and ads on other systems.

They usually believe what others say until they destroy their system and discover it was the only one available, leaving them with heavy debts they can't repair. It's easy for a company to hit a situation similar to the mythical unsinkable Titanic.
