It was a month back when I first used it, but Doubt seems to have evolved since then.

Download the USB file and enter your Win7 key. Both resale and OEM options are supported and it will be activated.

I truly believe Microsoft should discontinue Windows 7 in 2020. It once reached its peak. Now it’s time to close it down. Currently, modern systems can’t run on Windows 7—like the 7th and 8th generation Intel processors—which trigger the error: "The processor is not supported with the Windows version you’re using." Officially, the free upgrade to Windows 10 was completed on July 29, 2016. Source: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...pgrade-faq

Confidently confirmed. Functionally it remains operational and your key will be recognized by the MS license servers.

Certainly. Nevertheless, companies and large groups will retain unique advantages. Organizations such as the US Department of Defense recently upgraded to Windows Vista midway through the Windows 7 phase.

Never really enjoyed Windows 7, honestly. But I decided to keep support for Windows 8. Updated on February 25, 2019 by The Friendly Elite.

Hey, right now I’m stuck with my current OS. I think I should switch to Windows 10. I hope Microsoft will make it free if they stop supporting Windows 7. Once I’m done, I’ll move on.

they received a complimentary upgrade, not a free upgrade. It's actually the Windows 10 disk image. If your current Windows is activated or you got the OS with a key, it should work. That’s how I upgraded my Windows 7 OptiPlex 780.
