It seems Phil Spencer leads Microsoft’s gaming division, so there might be updates aligning Xbox and PC gaming experiences. He hinted at greater attention toward PC players, though I wasn’t aware of that before. He talked about exclusives moving to PC, which would be interesting but unlikely to bring titles like Halo 5 for PC. Most likely, people won’t buy an Xbox without it, so titles such as Sunset Overdrive are more appealing. I hope Microsoft shifts focus toward PC and that Spencer can help make it happen. We’ll just have to monitor the developments.

They might challenge Origin, Steam, or GOG by introducing a rival offering. They wouldn’t gain the same level of control over the platform as with Xbox. Still, it provides a revenue strategy that’s missing now, which is why they continue to weaken PC gaming even though they own Windows.
The findings would be significantly more valuable than the typical press releases I receive.
