Same, I get solid consistent 30fps on this in most places I'd be normally flying around in. Can't ask for more than that with a game like this.

Absolutely, the performance has been smooth so far. Just arrived from Orlando and was seeing around 35-40 frames per second with high settings. I usually hit about 75 fps in most cases.

On my machine the game operates at high settings around 60 to 70 frames per second during cruise. In detailed urban areas it drops to as low as 30 FPS, which I’m okay with. Probably the claims about how tough the game was aren’t too far off. While 4K is quite different, if you’re happy with 1080p and have a solid CPU, a mid to high-end graphics card such as an RTX 2060 Super with 8 GB of VRAM and ample RAM (like 64 GB in my setup), you’ll get excellent performance. And given Microsoft will likely improve the software soon, future performance should keep increasing.

I believe the system RAM and CPU clock speeds are the main factors affecting this game. My laptop matches my desktop specs (1660Ti Mobile, i7 9750H, vs R5 3600 + 1660 Super), but it has 16GB of RAM and when you launch the game, it quickly accesses the page file. This title demands about 32GB of fast, low-latency dual-channel RAM.

BTW, this game... wow, it's amazing. I installed it on my laptop (Helios 300 1660Ti) and connected it to the TV in my girlfriend's parents' house. We traveled through the Snake River between Oregon and Idaho, and her 70-year-old father was sharing stories about his experiences or the ranches he'd visited. The visuals were nearly 1:1 accurate. Everyone was amazed by how realistic it looked, and pops could clearly identify what they were seeing from a Cub.
