Adjust settings to disable personalized recommendations. This can be done via Settings > Personalization > Start and disabling the option for “Show recommendations for tips, app promotions, and more.”

It’s at least possible to switch it off right now. However, they’re doing everything they can to discourage me from using Windows. To be truthful, I prefer MacOS and SteamOS over Windows at the moment.

No, there haven't been ads in the Windows 10 start menu for about four years.

Yes, if a game runs smoothly on Linux/Unix/Mac, I might abandon it. The company seems self-interested, and I recall reading about this in Edge previously. Also, the update that locks the default browser is a big deal! I was using Classicshell and didn’t notice anything.

Several of my games run smoothly on Steam OS with minimal problems. The deck may not handle as powerful a system as my desktop, but the playthroughs remain solid.

I aim to set up a compact gaming station near the TV, just for selling. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BLXY...YQ0U8ZSIL1 It seems I can't locate a more powerful option, so fitting a 2 GPU setup works. Just install SteamOS and enjoy. The original Xbox could be a stylish mini system if it fits nicely. My graphics card is 7.4 Sad. I/O size is about 1.75 MB. The dual GPU version is around 3.05. It looks like the original Xbox is sufficient.

I’m running a dual boot setup with Windows on my Zephyrus Duo because of its unique performance in Windows. It’s nice I’m mostly a Linux user, otherwise I’d be really frustrated right away.
