We'll see. Honestly, I bet my 2 cents that they'll reverse this requirement but keep the TPM 2.0 one after a while, if their metric turns out to be entirely "experience" based and has very little to do with security. But I'm sticking with my theory.

My sandy bridge setup is in trouble, and now this? The first Gen RYZEN is even worse than a 1700? Hate Microsoft, hate losing, sticking to winning. (I’m hoping you can convince me otherwise) I really hoped to be the first to play Win 11...

It isn't running on an imp PC at all; key files are safely backed up and mostly developed on my laptop. I planned to test it on my desktop eventually, and perhaps later on the laptop after some time. It looks like getting a 1700 for a low price didn’t work out—many people I know will be upset.
