Hey there, I’m looking for some guidance on fixing my microphone issue. I use a Rode USB mic with Discord, and it drops out completely during gameplay until I restart the game. I’ve checked everything—updated BIOS, all USB drivers, other drivers, cables, ports, and even switched to different mics. It only worked fine before I installed a new motherboard, CPU, or RAM. I’m hoping you can help since this is really frustrating.

Specs:
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming (ROG STRIX B550-E)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6 cores, 12 threads, up to 4.2GHz
- RAM: Corsair 32GB (4x8GB), DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro SL C16 at 3200MHz
- Mic: Rode USB mic

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Consider using another USB port, probably a 2.0 port that lacks sufficient power or has limited bandwidth.
