Hello, whenever I try to use my microphone it fails completely, so I have to disconnect it from the pink 3.5mm jack and reconnect it. After that, the sound manager opens and I choose Mic-in, which works until I turn off the computer and have to repeat the process. I'm using a Logitech G Pro X headset, but I take it out at night since I don't use it often. Also on Windows 11. Any assistance would be very helpful!

Test the built-in Windows audio troubleshooters. They might locate and resolve the issue.
When choosing the microphone, are you certain to save the selection as the default device using an option like "Save," "Ok," or "Yes"? Often this choice is hidden and only visible after scrolling.
Check that the correct Logictech drivers are installed.
If needed, update them or reinstall entirely to fix any corruption.
Make sure you download the drivers directly from Logitech’s site. Avoid third-party installers.
Confirm the driver source is genuinely from Logitech—just because "Logitech" appears in the path doesn’t guarantee authenticity.
If this doesn’t work, investigate whether another application is interfering with the microphone functionality.
When attempting a fix, note how the system was set up before making changes, as this can help identify the cause.
