Hi, I recently returned from a trip and found my microphone on the cable of my Bose QC 35 II completely non-functional. I've tested all USB ports on my computer, updated drivers in Device Manager, reinstalled graphics drivers, purchased a new adapter, connected it to the motherboard, plugged the jack into the board, and even flashed the BIOS (though for a RAM issue). Still nothing. Any suggestions?

After updating the BIOS, did you reset the CMOS on the motherboard? Have you attempted to reinstall the chipset drivers manually via the elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator?
