I have a concern about the volume of the microphone on my Razer Kraken headset, which is extremely low even when set to maximum. It’s difficult to hear what I’m saying. I’ve tried reinstalling the devices and updating drivers, even reinstalling Razer Synapse, but nothing has resolved the issue. This problem occurred with a previous headset model, the Hyperx Cloud Alpha 2, which had the same issue. I attempted to use a splitter and different software to increase the microphone volume, but it now often produces loud static noise. I’m unsure if the headset itself is the cause, especially since the new Kraken model still has the problem, leaving me without a clear solution.
Navigate to 'Control Panel' > 'Hardware & Sound' > 'Sound'. A new panel will appear, followed by the 'record' section. Right-click on your 'Microphone' and select 'Properties'. Move to the 'Levels' part to adjust its sensitivity.
I have already attempted everything, but there is still very little sound coming from the microphone.

Speaker is the device that produces sound for you, whereas microphone is the one you use to speak into, like on platforms such as Discord.
The most probable reason is an impedance mismatch. Determine the expected input impedance and compare it to the microphone's impedance. If they differ significantly, problems may arise.
Are you using the Discord app on your laptop or PC? If yes, then examine your 'Input Sensitivity'. Begin by navigating to Settings, then select the 'Voice & video' section. There, input sensitivity is usually set to 'automatic determine' by default. Disable that option and move the scroll all the way to the left.
