Unfortunately that is also a benefit to b-die. It's been around forever and since so many prefer it there's lots of into about what it can and can't do. People are still learning on these newer die types.

I noticed many users on Reddit using Rev-E on my quest. Some even posted their configurations, including one running at 3800 c14! That matches exactly what I'm aiming for—I won't waste more time if I hit a similar result. (For example, 3800 c16 would work too.) This is basically my target with those RAMs, keeping under 1.45v (is 1.5/1.6v daily okay for Rev-E?).

they struggle with tight schedules, but something B-die handles well, while CJR and Rev E perform adequately.

as i mentioned, ram is quite task-dependent. cinebench doesn’t focus much on that. also, when it comes to amd, it’s just about standard memory, i’m just looking for a budget upgrade

I’d recommend checking out the E-die versus B-Die options—I’d pick the B. The RGB lighting adds to the cost of the memory. For you, Nick, consider Newegg’s business section for a 16GB 2x8 kit with 3600MHz specs at 99$, though it won’t support RGB. They can push 4000MHz with XMP timings.
