It's about a particular situation where numerous compact mini ITX units almost match a micro ATX board but don't quite fit. The four screws used for mini ITX are the same as the four upper left screws found in micro ATX and ATX models, making them compatible from a mounting perspective. All you need is sufficient vertical space.
Apologies for the necro-post... Will the card slots fit properly? I'm setting up a retro PC inside a mini-ITX case, using a micro-ATX board with an AGP slot.
