Hello.
Lately I've been facing unusual brief stalls while gaming (0.5-1 second).
I've observed these issues during play in Apex Legends and BFV.
RIG:
Asus PRIME X470-Pro
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
Kingston 16GB HyperX Predator DDR4
Gainward GeForce RTX 2060 Phoenix GS
Seasonic 650W Focus+ 650 Gold
Benq XL2411
Samsung and Kingston SSDs
I'm using Windows on an older Samsung SSD and newer Kingston SSD.
All drivers and Windows have been updated.
I've experimented with various fixes like changing power plans, adjusting video settings, etc.
CPU and GPU temperatures stay around 30°C at idle, rising to about 60°C under load.
The system doesn't have any special hard OCs besides XMP profiles for RAM.
It's becoming quite annoying, though the freezes aren't too frequent but they remain bothersome.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and help!

Kingston is recognized for producing very poor 'budget' SSDs, often caught repeatedly with questionable methods:

These performance issues might indicate a faulty or failing drive, more typical of failing HDDs but also possible in subpar SSDs.

Updated the kingstons firmware, appears to have resolved the issue or at least reduced the frequency of freezing.
