Recently in a Discord server, whenever I start a game, my friends can't hear me. I haven't changed any Discord settings since I first set it up. My microphone is fine and the auto-level adjustment is off. The issue began in Battlefield 2042. I thought it might be my internet because someone keeps streaming TV at home, so I upgraded to 1GB. But the problem persisted. I tested and Discord seemed to work only when I switched back from Battlefield 2042 or opened other apps that blocked the Discord window. I also tried using Forne with my friend in Discord, but the problem lasted only a short time. It stopped, but Forne kept reporting packet loss. Could it be related to my hardware?

Have you used the Windows Audio Troubleshooter before?

No, that didn't resolve your problem.

It seemed to make a difference. Another attempt was updating the drivers for the Windows audio system.
