MHZ target not being achieved by the RAM.
Hello, I recently installed a gaming PC with a B360 Aurus gaming 3 motherboard, an Intel I7 9700K CPU, and Corsair 32GB RAM at 3200MHz. I'm experiencing an issue where the RAM is hitting its intended frequency, even after setting it to XMP in BIOS. The maximum speed remains at 2666MHz. I'm unsure if the problem lies with the CPU, the RAM, or the motherboard's capability. I would really appreciate any advice on how to resolve this. Thank you!
It seems the B360 reaches a top speed of 2666, but it doesn’t allow memory overclocking.
