I understand comparing benchmark results for these laptops isn't a precise science. Have you come across any reliable tests between the 155H CPU and the 1370P? I'm curious if there were any cases where the older model benefited from hyperthreading on its newer cores. I checked my sources, but what I found mostly seemed to be unreliable opinions or outdated data.
For easy side-by-side checks, I often use Cinebench results. In Cinebench R23 the Ultra 7 155H achieves 16825, whereas the i7-1370P reaches 12933. That makes Meteor Lake 30% quicker. The 1370P can hit up to 14700 and the 155H up to 19,000. But a quick note—both have HT on P-cores, and it’s only Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake where HT/SMT is being phased out. Unless you’re referring to something different?
