I recently faced one of the most unusual tech problems I've ever dealt with. Last night my Canon G7020 Inkjet printer stopped printing only the top 5% of a page very slowly before halting and ejecting the rest of the paper. My dad and I attempted all possible fixes—cleaning functions, switching devices via USB or Wi-Fi, adjusting print settings, restarting both the printer and computer, updating and downgrading drivers—but nothing resolved it. Meanwhile, my younger brother was using a Meta Quest 2 VR headset in the same room. When we couldn't solve the printer issue, we left to do other things and returned a few hours later when everything seemed normal (since he wasn’t playing on the headset). We humorously thought the headset might be the culprit because it was the only change that occurred, assuming the printer had time to reset. But once he resumed using the headset, the printer stopped working again and behaved exactly as before. I’m trying to determine if the VR headset was involved. It seems unlikely since we also experienced the same problem when using USB.

He is running independently or connected through a PC via an airlink or virtual desktop. Using the latter requires significant network resources.
