It's worth mentioning though—I don’t play online, so you’d probably need to turn it off for that to function. When loading web pages, it frequently changes connections, which can help if the sites are large. Browser downloads require a multi-threaded manager; there are add-ons or extensions for that. I’m using pfSense on the router.

I recently added Multithreaded Download Manager to Firefox on my laptop, but I think it might not be the top choice. I don’t use it much on my desktop since I rarely need to download large files there. Instead, I prefer it mainly for convenience—like when I start two downloads at once, it increases the chances of getting one from each connection.
