MemTest failures on brand new ram, please help
Recently I faced problems with most games where my display would freeze for 5-10 seconds repeatedly. My system had 2x8GB plus another 2x8GB, one from my original build and the other from a friend upgrading to 2x16GB. Task manager showed a total of 23GB, so I thought replacing it with a fresh 2x16GB would help. But the new sticks are causing even more issues. Games like Deep Rock Galactic crashed instantly, and Chrome froze during YouTube playback due to an out-of-memory error. Task manager indicated plenty of space in my 32GB RAM, yet MemTest reported numerous errors. I plan to test each stick in different slots or machines. I’m new to forums, so please share any additional details you have. I checked the BIOS thinking a change in RAM speed settings might be the cause, but I’m unsure if there are solutions there.
Tried launching Steam while streaming on Chrome, encountered a crash with error code CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.
