I've been using Call of Duty: Warzone since its release, it previously ran smoothly but now I experience inconsistent frame drops. In the task manager, Warzone is using around 4-5 GB of memory. I think this is causing the issue. Can you reduce its memory usage? Other games like Apex Legends use only about 2-3 GB. I have an GTX 1060, 8 GB RAM, and an i5 8300H processor.

Of the game itself? Not generally. Lower the gfx effects might put less of a strain on the system, but no guarantees

Consider reducing the workload by closing unnecessary programs. There aren't many options, so you might need to adjust some settings. If your motherboard supports it, adding more RAM could be necessary.

Adjust the settings, search for a modern warfare guide, and dim other background tasks. The game consumes roughly 5.5-7GB of RAM, though I think it’s just hungry like Chrome. Rust needs about 12-14GB, and Minecraft too.
