I recently acquired a new Memory (Gskill DDR4 3600 2x8) and after installing it on the MOBO, it doesn't allow me to adjust the RAM frequency to its rated 3600. I've reset the CMOS and reached the maximum speed possible, which was 3200. Someone could help me with this issue, that would be great!

You connected the two pins on the motherboard, removed the battery, and reinserted it. Now the computer is running but only at 2100 Hz instead of the expected 3600 Hz.

What motherboard and processor do you have? For example, if you own a Zen 1 CPU, note that its IMC might be questionable, though it could differ. Please let us know. Edited May 23, 2020 by TofuHaroto

I attempted to raise the voltage threshold to 3600, but it didn’t start up and would reset to default settings three times. I also tried using the LINK method.

Maybe you simply missed the silicon lottery. Zen seems to have a tough time, and your IMC isn't great—3600 might be too much to handle.
