Hey there. I've been experiencing some odd issues lately—random crashes, BSODs, and a drop in FPS. I suspect this might be connected to my RAM. After restarting my PC, the DRAM LED on the motherboard lights up. I swapped out stick #1 for #2 and ran several stress tests: Prime95, Memtest86, AIDA64, and Windows Memory Diagnostic. All tests passed. I then tried using #1 in slot one and #2 in slot two, and everything worked fine. Now, when I put #2 in slot two, the system won't start. At first I thought the second slot was bad, so I swapped back to #1, which worked. That left me confused—what could be wrong? My specs are an MSI H110m Pro vh Plus (LGA1151), Intel i5 6400 2.7GHz turbo, Samsung DDR4 4GB 2133MHz (x2), Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX1070, 600W PSU, Samsung 256GB SSD, Seagate 4TB HDD. The summary shows random BSODs, crashes, and FPS drops. Debug light comes on after restarts. Both RAM sticks passed testing, but the second one isn't working in its slot.

It's unusual. Ram stick 2 is in slot 1, stick 1 in slot 2.

Thanks for the update. I now have stick #1 in slot two and stick #2 in slot one, which should provide 8Gb of memory. However, I’m still experiencing crashes and the debug light appears during restarts.

It seems tricky to figure out what's wrong. It might be the board itself or the power supply failed (which could also affect the board and CPU). Without parts to replace for testing, it's hard to pinpoint the issue. You could try resetting the BIOS, though H110 boards can't be overclocked. Maybe someone else has a better idea to look into.

I never tried overclocking. I am scared of doing it wrong. I have reset the bios just in case something went haywire. Thank you for trying to help. I really appreciate it. Hopefully someone has a fix for this problem.
