I recently acquired a set of new components for my Ryzen system. I purchased an Asus X570 TUF Plus and a G-Skill Trident Z 2x8GB 3600 CL15 memory module. My intention was to optimize the memory for the best possible performance, aiming for extremely tight timings. However, I encountered a problem: the CAS value consistently shows as 16 instead of the desired 15. This issue appears in both the BIOS and the CPU settings within Windows 10. Could I have made a mistake when selecting these parts? All other timing parameters seem accurate and align with the XMP profile for the memory. For your reference, here are the links to the items I bought: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF...PLUS-WI-FI and https://www.gskill.com/product/165/168/1...Z-Overview. Thank you for your assistance!

Turn off the gear down mode so Ryzen can handle odd timing settings. This adjustment should be found in the manual settings for timing options.
