Hello! I'm checking the maximum memory speed the Ryzen 5 3600 can support when using four modules. Right now I have two 8GB modules at 3600MHz, and I'm thinking about adding more.

3600 MHz remains adequate. In my opinion, it’s better to settle for 3866 MHz instead. RAM speed can assist, but eventually there will be limits, and investing in something more impactful might be wiser.

Your motherboard QVL 4x kits might seem odd, but a 3800MHz clock speed could be ideal if you're lucky. Many users prefer 3600MHz because it's more affordable and the gains aren't significant enough to justify the price.

In the worst situation, if your motherboard isn’t sufficient, you might need to adjust BIOS settings and manually set the clock speed to between 3200 and 3400 MHz. This will still function. Target around 3600 MHz. If that doesn’t work, try tweaking timings first, then increase voltage slightly (e.g., to 1.36V) and if issues persist, lower the frequency back to 3200–3400 MHz.
