Memory size reported as 2133 not 3000
I own Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 3000 speed and it only boots at 2133. Others mention that BSOD with AMD is common when using faster RAM. I have a Ryzen 5 1600, MSI X370 gaming pro carbon, and the latest BIOS—I’m curious about a fix. XMP doesn’t help and prevents me from booting into Windows. Manual tuning still causes BSOD and low FPS.
Activating XMP changes settings, and here are the other details you have. EDIT: I can't see text.
Consider adjusting the memory speed manually. Previously, stable performance around 2933Mhz was achievable. Now it runs at 2666Mhz with tighter timings and approximately 1.35v. Explore different memory profiles; a 2666Mhz setting is available and you can increase gradually for better speeds.
Test at 2933 with 1.4V per drive, slightly raising the SoC voltage to 1.2V or less, and observe the outcome.
