I wanted to upgrade my RAM, so I removed my single stick of 8GB and checked its type (to match the original).
After reinstalling, my PC couldn't proceed past the boot screen, and if it did, games would randomly black screen and crash.
When I took out the RAM, I didn’t touch anything else besides it.
If it could start up, it seems to detect the RAM correctly.
I assumed the issue was with the motherboard, so I swapped it out, but the crashes continued.
(Not sure if that matters, but in games I encounter errors like STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.)
I’ve reset my PC completely, updated drivers, but the problem persists.
Specs:
Motherboard: GA-A230M-S2H (Old), ASROCK Phantom Gaming 4 (New)
Ram: 2x 8gb G.SKILL
CPU: Ryzen 3 3200g
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1050 OC

If the card is near the maximum power the system can provide, you could try returning it to the factory for an overclock using a different power source. However, most users won't have a better supply available for testing. It seems more likely that replacing the OEM video card would fix the issue, but if not, you'd still need to consider a new power supply or accept slower performance.

Was die Energie zum Hauptbrett abgezogen oder lediglich ausgeschaltet? Es gibt weiterhin Strom, wenn der Modus aktiviert ist (z. B. für Wake-on-LAN oder Bewegen von Maus/Tastatur).

Just when you meant it, was when I removed the RAM.
At that time, the computer was turned off.
I haven’t made any changes inside the computer while it was on.
But I’m not sure if I turned off the power supply unit.

I believe the issue lies with my graphics card. For instance, when attempting to play CSGO, after several tries the game freezes, though it seems to run if I press W, which makes me think of walking. Should I consider alternatives or upgrade to a new graphics card? The NVidia drivers version is 496.13.

The graphics card was provided pre-optimized, achieved by lowering its clock speed instead of increasing it (in my setup it was 1380MHz while the standard was 1354MHz).

Games keep crashing, resetting to the default settings hasn't fixed it.

It's interesting, I came across a comparable issue where I had to completely replace the RAM since I accidentally damaged the pins and didn't realize it. I should have checked the pins more carefully to check for damage.
