Summary: You have two 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB modules, originally 3466MHz, now running at 3200MHz. You're considering upgrading to 32GB and are unsure if the timing will match the original specs. You found used 3333MHz units at a good price and are seeking advice on compatibility.

When the IC chip matches, you can blend RAM speeds, such as pairing a Samsung B die with another Samsung B die. To verify your die, use a tool like Typhoon. A good suggestion is to list your existing RAM on eBay and purchase fresh RAM instead.

Most premium RAM uses identical ICs, unlike GPUs which vary by model. Your observation matches the version I saw—they’re all from the same chipset.

They use three separate manufacturers—Micron, Samsung, and Hynix—each with its own manufacturing process.

You’ll be fine combining RAM.
