If you can't handle 2x16GB of DDR5, it's unrealistic to expect good results with DDR5.
Initially I considered this would be about a cursed tri rank setup or a mix of 8Gb and 16Gb ICs. The 8GB DDR5 sticks are likely 1RX16 or half-rank, which is essentially junk meant for e-waste recycling. If you need affordable DDR5, look into Hynix/Klevv 4800C40 (HDI capable of ~7600) or better the 5600C46 (HDI with 10000+). Teamgroup also offers a 5600C46 kit using Hynix dies, requiring at least 32GB, making it single-rank 1RX8—so you won’t ruin performance with a low-rank setup. I’m curious though, does 1RX16 offer any advantage over 1RX8 on the IMCC? Also, is there a difference in memory density between 1RX16 and 1RX8?
When your budget is limited, stick to AM4 and DDR4 components. Their performance remains quite close.
