I need some help with my problem. I have had my current configuration of my pc for the last 2 years. I upgraded the cpu and added 2 sticks of 8 gbs ram each 2 years ago. No problems ever occured. Now since a couple days i have been experiencing a lot of BSOD's. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT being the most common but also had SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and KERNEL_SECURITY__CHECK_FAILURE.
Before my first BSOD i had a "PhoneExperienceHost.exe - System Error
Exception Processing Message Oxc0000005 - Unexpected parameters"
Error in windows.
During these couple of days my motherboard also came up with a corrupted BIOS message which i resolved by flashing a new BIOS (7C02v3L) with all default settings.
Also the LED's of one of the RAM sticks does not show lights when not controlled by ICUE (rgb software of corsair), normally it did at least something. All the other sticks are showing light.
I have tried to test the RAM one by one with Memtest86 in a single slot config. All with 4 passes, 0 errors. Also tested all of the slots in a single ram config, 0 errors.
Tried several combinations of sticks with 2 or 3 slots occupied. With only errors occuring once with slot 2 and 4 occupied. (2000 errors).
The biggest problems occur when using 4 sticks at the same time. Windows doesn't even boot anymore with this config and the Memtest86 fails in the first test every time with more than 10000 errors. It also didn't even boot to Memtest86 with 4 sticks installed, with the cpu debug light turned on on the motherboard.
Tried some using of the pc with 2 sticks of RAM in either slots 2 and 3 or 2 and 4. No blue screens were experienced for 2 days.
I am wondering what else i can try or what you guys think is broken.
Specifications of my pc:
Ryzen 7 5800x3D
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
4x 8gbs Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 Tests were all run without xmp enabled.
MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming X
Crucial p1 1TB
2 seagate barracuda 1tb drives
Fractal Design ION+ 560W Platinum
Arctic Freezer 36 A-RGB
Thank you in advance for your replies and happy holidays!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to place both kits of ram side by side and take note of the PCB revisions. Take pics of them, host them on Imgur and then pass on a link for us to see.

This would mean that you have two different IC'd ram kits, even thought they look visually the same. Corsair is the only brand out there that sources IC's from multiple vendors, them being SK Hynix, Samsung and Micron. We'll need those images to corroborate the above statement.
Ryzen 7 5800x3D
If this is your CPU now that was an upgrade, what did you upgrade from?
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX

In your current state, make sure you've installed the latest chipset driver sourced from AMD's support site, in an elevated command, then flash the BIOS to version 7C02v3M2(Beta version). Once you've verified the BIOS was flashed to aforementioned version, clear the CMOS.
Fractal Design ION+ 560W Platinum
How old is this PSU?
The biggest problems occur when using 4 sticks at the same time.
One last thing, working with 4 sticks of ram is asking for trouble as it adds stress to the integrated memory controller. Users were advised to look at a 2x kit so in your instance if you wanted 32GB's, you should've looked at a 2x16GB kit. You could've extracted more out of your system if you went with a DDR4-3600MHz dual channel ram kit with tight latencies.

I've never faced any problems over the past two years when merging these sets.
The Ryzen 5 3600 worked fine—flashing the BIOS and updating the chipset driver didn’t bring any changes.
My PSU is five years old.
I only added RAM for one game, so I opted for a second 8GB kit instead, which was more affordable.
Appreciate your help!

Reviewing your image and comparing it with this guide;
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/explo...Hq...C7p2nu_Iop
you are using Samsung IC-based RAM kits. Check if the problem appears with the Ryzen 5 3600, otherwise, ensure your Ryzen 7 5800x3D doesn't have issues with the two RAM kits. You'll also need a compatible donor motherboard with the appropriate BIOS version to test how well your Ryzen 7 5800x3D and the two RAM kits work together on it.

I no longer have the Ryzen 5 3600. I upgraded to a Ryzen 5 2600 instead. I tried it with two sticks and everything worked fine. Then I tested it with four sticks, but immediately encountered the "ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY" error. I couldn't boot Windows; during the second attempt it displayed: "your motherboard's bios is damaged, system will go to setup to update bios. press any key to continue.... 0s entering setup."

The RAM is designed to work together as a unit.
A motherboard needs to handle all the RAM according to the same voltage, case, and frequency requirements.
The internal design matches the capacity of the kit.
RAM from the same manufacturer and part number may vary in manufacturing over time.
Some motherboards, especially those from AMD, can be very sensitive to these differences.
This becomes more challenging when multiple sticks are used.
Matching RAM is essential for correct functioning.
Sometimes you can fix issues by raising the voltage in the motherboard's BIOS if allowed.
You might need to reduce the speed to make it work.
Use memtest86 to verify—no errors should appear during a full run.

The system functioned properly over the last two and a half years due to consistent performance.

Any ram chip wafer will exhibit minor differences in the chips it generates.
Ram manufacturers evaluate these chips to ensure they meet compatibility requirements for operating a system at the claimed speeds, voltages, and timing.
Because memtest86 detects errors when all four modules are active, this signals an issue.
You could attempt adjusting the RAM voltage slightly, which often resolves the concern.
Alternatively, you might need to operate at a reduced speed compared to the advertised rate.
