It's true that the RAM concern becomes more relevant when adding a GPU, as you wouldn't need to reserve it for the IGPU anymore. On the B350 MSI board, I could set the minimum to 256MB, which felt unnecessary but wasn't a major issue.

Sure. Two gigs is a scam. For systems with under 12 gigabytes of memory, at least. I played CSGO on a 3400GB drive and the GPU used all available RAM, which made gameplay feel sluggish and unstable. Occasional stutters and FPS drops occurred.
