Memory isn't functioning properly.
I've faced some challenges keeping my memory performance steady at the claimed rates. I adjusted the BIOS to enable D.O.C.P. with higher DRAM voltage, but it still won't start. I used a calculator for overclocking and manually tweaked timing values, yet results remained inconsistent. The only successful method was setting the first five CL timings while letting the rest auto. It launches, but (1) it lags behind advertised XMP speeds, and (2) it requires running at 1.4v, which might not be sustainable long-term. Recently I double-checked my G.Skill Ripjaws V—its QVL matches my motherboard’s part number, yet there seem to be minor discrepancies between the listings. Could this be the reason I can’t simply apply D.O.C.P. settings? I’d prefer not to replace the RAM now (purchased early January, so returns aren’t an option), but I might consider it if it could boost speed and stability more. Photos of the QVL and Thaiphoon display are attached below. I’ve emphasized the QVL details for the closest part number. Is this possibly the issue? ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING Ryzen 5 3600
