Hi, your water bridge finally came online for your SLI 970 last night. You gave it a shot with 4K gaming, and it worked well—especially with Witcher 3. The only real problem was Assassins Creed Unity, but that’s expected. The main issue you’re facing is with GTA V; it runs briefly before freezing into a black screen and displaying a message about low memory. Since your system has 16GB RAM, it seems like there might be a memory leak somewhere.

Did you attempt to adjust the settings in GTA V? Then the effects should have vanished.

You could be dealing with the "970 infamous memory issue," indicating insufficient VRAM.

It seems the issue might be linked to system memory, though the VRAM concern is unclear. Recent searches indicate memory problems are frequent in GTA V.

no issues with memory usage, even though GTA V claims it needs over 3500 MB

If it uses "more than 3500MB" of VRAM , don't look further, that's the problem with all the 970s.

It runs smoothly even with over 3500MB of VRAM used, and I confirmed it works on my system too.

The issue of low physical memory often stems from resource leaks or inefficient usage. Regarding GTA V, there are reports suggesting memory leaks can occur, but their impact varies by version and player behavior.
