Memory Clock In Ryzen Master
Memory Clock In Ryzen Master
I have this feature named "memory clock," and I'm wondering what it actually does. Is it related to adjusting your RAM speed? Or is it something different? Since I can only reach up to 1600MHz, but the BIOS shows my RAM speed as 2133MHz, how does that work?
The "Memory clock" feature in Ryzen Master lets you adjust the read or write speeds for your system RAM. All contemporary RAM uses DDR technology (currently DDR4), where "DDR" stands for Double Data Rate. This means the actual memory speed is double the clock frequency. For instance, if your RAM runs at 2133 MHz, the Memory clock in Ryzen Master should display 1066 MHz (double the clock). Ryzen supports setting the clock up to 1600 MHz, which matches a RAM speed of 3200 MHz.
