Hello, I checked the setup of your 2012 computer and found some confusion. The system shows as a 1333Mhz module despite having a 4Gb drive (model KHX1600C9D3). The correct profiles should be 1600 11-11-11 at 1.5V and XMP 1600 9-9-9 at 1.65V, but it’s not recognizing the 1600Mhz profile. I tried connecting the stick in all slots on the motherboard (Gigabyte P67A-UD3) but it still didn’t appear with the right settings. The reference number listed is 9905403-400.A00LF, not KHX1600C9D3. It seems there might be an issue with the stick itself or a mismatch in the BIOS settings. Could you double-check the drive and its profile? Thanks for your patience.

The ratings and performance metrics are distinct concepts. You should adjust the speed to 1600 in the BIOS.

The stick with an XMP profile set to 1600 will appear regardless of usage. Do you have another DDR3 system available for testing? Also, please share the CPU-Z SPD output.

I attempted to activate the XMP profile on the alternative stick, but the motherboard isn’t compatible with 1.65V, causing crashes during startup.

The CPU is an i5-2500K, designed for memory up to 1333 MHz, but I manually set it to 1600 MHz in the BIOS and it works without changing voltages. Also, when I tried to install it in a second system with a Haswell processor that supports 1600 MHz RAM, the same result occurred.
