I own an FX-8370 in an Asus Sabertooth 990FX and when I filled four slots, I had to increase the RAM voltage by 0.025V for stability. Apart from that, the RAM speed isn't specified, CL doesn't help much unless you adjust CAS/CL settings in BIOS. The AMD FX-8350 tops 1866MHz at XMP, so anything higher needs special configurations. What speed are you aiming for? Have you cleared the CMOS?

1200mhz doubled equals 2400mhz. Those values don't include DDR and display SDR. It took me a while to discover the frequency my PC prefers at 2400mhz. After watching the Linus video on RAM speeds, it seems +50% RAM boost only improves system performance by 5%. I tested with Unigine and other benchmarks and confirmed it. Make sure the pins are straight—there should be a lock handle to stop you from removing the CPU easily.
