I have identical issues but with a 6.53GB usable space. I'm unsure what's causing it.

Support this idea too. If you must have the memory restored, turn off the iGPU. Just remember, your battery will last longer in the bathroom.

It might be feasible to lower the memory settings in the BIOS, though laptops often offer limited choices for this. It’s worth checking.
