Found COD:IW and MW Remastered during a Newegg promotion. Remembered the days when you could finish an AAA title in just ten hours. Loved IW. Other projects I'm exploring: Red Faction Guerilla Remastered, Fire Pro Wrestling World, Okami HD, Dead Cells, A Hat in Time.
I played Hunt: Showdown over the weekend and I’m really enjoying it. It keeps challenging me, and the game feels engaging on many fronts. CryEngine looks stunning.
I bought that game due to the prelaunch buzz... spent two hours trying to return it and realized it wasn't covered by the special. Now I have twins who are 14 months old and often keep me up late. When I manage a few hours, I dive into Monster Hunter World. It's a fairly tough game with some really frustrating sections. You might spend minutes finding monsters, then another twenty minutes getting close before suddenly a bigger one appears to eat you. Eventually you manage to find a new monster to hunt next time. The weapon options are interesting too, with some complex mechanics and combos to master. Overall it's been entertaining, though solo play is my top choice—7 out of 10. If you're playing with others, it's a solid 10 out of 10.
They’re both energetic and always trying their best. It cost $60, but I got it for $42.99 from Greenmangaming. Overall, it’s been a good deal.
