Medic in combat position on the battlefield
Medic in combat position on the battlefield
Last night I was practicing my casual assault drills. Then I ran into an enemy medic who seemed ready to take me out. He turned around, dropped low, and fired in a smooth motion. I swear there were probably 5 or more people nearby, but he ducked, slipped past, and got out of everyone's way. He then eliminated me and everyone else around him. After I died, I watched his movements. When he engages someone, he crouches and uses his sidearm more than his main rifle. I need to learn the proper battlefield crouch technique.
COD meta confirmed in Battlefield? Sounds like it as there's this thing you do in COD where when you start engaging, you immediately hit the deck (i.e. go prone) which this crouching "thing" sounds close enough to And yes, people in R6S have started to do it as well hence why I know about it.
Battlefield has consistently been a COD title featuring a distinct player interface, especially regarding the user base.
In CSGO meta, you hit the crouch button right when you begin spraying—even top players do it. It’s a common tactic across all FPS games, and I’ve tried all four extensively.
I used to enjoy CoD 4 MW 1 with its hunting mechanics, which was the best at the time. Nowadays I avoid it completely. I tried BF 1 but found it dull. I also dislike Ubishit, so I’m left with CS:GO. Maybe Arma could work, but I’m not really into realistic graphics. Still, crouching always makes a big difference in any FPS, whether single or multiplayer... This is one of the legacies from Half-Life ^^
Achievement highlights across multiple platforms. Over 350 hours in CSGO, 325 in Arma 3, plus 274 in A2:OA and 200 in A2. Estimated 400-600 hours in other Tom Clancy titles, around 50 in Battlefield 4. Experience spans various FPS games with diverse modes—building bases, survival challenges, roleplaying, and more. Arma offers extensive mod support beyond just milsim, supporting base building, survival, and even battle royale experiences.
