The setup includes a GTX 760, an i5 4460 processor, and 8GB of RAM. The display resolution is 1920x1080. ME Catalyst offers five preset options: LOW AAx2, MEDIUM AAx4, HIGH x16, ULTRA x16, and HYPER x16. On this machine I achieved around 70 to 80 frames per second at low settings, but only about 40-50fps in medium. The game feels quite smooth since it doesn’t demand extreme precision like a combat shooter. High performance stays near 30 FPS or less, with drops below 30 possible. It runs well on Hyper from 22 up to 30 and occasionally hits 34-36 FPS as well. Motion blur remains low across all modes, and frame rates stay consistent between Ultra and Hyper. The loading menu reaches 200 FPS, but slows to 40 when encountering issues. Cut scenes load at roughly 80 FPS, and the pause menu shows 60 FPS. Given the volume of activity, there’s little need to focus on minor details except inside elevators, which are mostly plain or transparent. While differences exist, they don’t significantly impact enjoyment. The original ME version was a favorite when it launched, but now it’s available at a discounted price. You can improve performance by tweaking settings and customizing the game. Frame rates were measured using both FRAPS and ShadowPlay.
