I checked Facebook on one of my computers and received a warning from McAfee about a potential password breach. It mentioned hacking concerns—should I be concerned or just dismiss it? (Uncertain if it was in the right forum.)

It seems suspicious. Please share a screenshot if possible. If this was genuinely from McAfee, they likely could have stopped the issue before it occurred.

Yes, that statement indicates the password has been exposed or identified as unsafe.

I just looked into this topic. Please update your password right away. The note indicates your current password is vulnerable to automated cracking methods. A strong password should include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Ensure it doesn’t reveal personal details like your favorite football team or color.

Avoid weak passwords that computers can easily guess, like simple 8-letter lowercase codes. Don't rely on basic patterns—use stronger methods instead.
