you have the asrock b450m r 4.02, but it claims support for the ryzen 5000 series. your ryan 5 5600 doesn’t work. when you power on the pc, the gpu fans go to maximum and nothing else happens. after removing one ram stick and replacing the gpu, it still won’t turn on. clearing the cmos by taking out the battery didn’t help either. trying a ryzen 2000 series didn’t get any better. please check your components or contact support for further assistance.

Are there any diagnostic indicators on the board? If yes, which ones illuminate during startup failures?

Also no LEDs, which makes sense since it was acting like the other CPU but bent at the wrong spot.

The 2000 series? Seriously, double-check both units—those components that seem to be acting up. Are any connections damaged or misaligned?

yeah the 2000 series cpu is bent because of the cooler i guess it works in the original pc with its cooler because i guess better mounting pressure but forget about that i wanna focus on the non working motherboard if you have any clues i tried searching for a bios update but cant seem to find it for this motherboard on asrocks official site

It's possible you used a 3700X with Wraith Stealth Prism, which might affect the socket. The different mounting could cause bending, and if the pressure is too low, it might not fit properly.

Notice that concern—could a motherboard problem be causing the 5600 to fail due to bent pins? Was the 2000 series affecting the socket design? Since it's a pinless socket with pins on the CPUs, a low pressure issue might not damage the board but could cause overheating if temperatures were normal before. You might try using a flashlight or phone to check the CPU and pins for any damage. If everything looks intact, you can proceed further with troubleshooting.

the socket appears intact with no bent pins. i purchased the cpu yesterday and checked it for damage before installation. after inspecting the pins again, everything looks fine—no bent pins detected.

Other parts seem to be functioning normally. Checking fans and CPU temperature, RGB lights, power supply, and cable connections all appear intact. Even after moving the room, the PC started successfully. I double-checked every connection and re-seated everything carefully. The issue was likely with the cables, not the hardware itself.

I rearranged everything as fans all claim, the CPU fan spins RGB while the GPU is on, the HDD spins the PSU but there’s no input—just a black screen in standby mode. I tried DisplayPort and HDMI connections for the GPU fans to reach full speed, but nothing works.
